Bills unpaid – company cheats companies hundreds of thousands of euros

A sales company from the district of St. Veit an der Glan in Carinthia is suspected of defrauding numerous companies from all over Austria. Those responsible are silent to the police.

The allegations against a Carinthian sales company weigh heavily. Because the company allegedly failed to comply with the terms of the contract in the past year due to false allegations and failed to pay the invoices in full. A total of four Austrian companies have filed a report with the police.

Production halls simply not delivered
Two companies from Vorarlberg and Tyrol have ordered a production hall from the Carinthian company. After tens of thousands of euros had been paid in advance, the St. Veit company simply did not deliver. On the contrary – she demanded even more money. The Tyrolean company even transferred more than a hundred thousand euros.

An assembly company in Lower Austria reported another case. Commissioned by the Carinthian company, she carried out work worth tens of thousands of euros. The bill was never paid.

Steel construction not built, but collected
A plumbing company from Upper Austria contacted the police because they ordered a steel structure from the Carinthian company and it was never built. Therefore, the customer demanded the money back, which he did not get.

According to the management, the total damage amounts to several hundred thousand euros. It is not yet known whether other companies have suffered damage. Those responsible have been reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Klagenfurt for serious fraud.
