From the student to the governor and from the student to authorized officer: the “krone” asked Tyrol’s head of the state of Anton Mattle (ÖVP) and David Narr, a student coordinator in the Chamber of Commerce to interview this important topic.
“Krone”: Mr. the Governor, how was that when you started your internship?
LH Anton Mattle: So for me it was very granted. Especially since I did not play in the Sandpit and said that I would like to become a governor. But nice aside. As a child I knew I wanted to become an electrician. Our neighbor was an electrician and that was good for me. In principle I was a good student, mathematics and physics were my favorite topics. A technical profession was clear. I made the agricultural school in Imst for eight years and instead of the Polytechnic and there were already three special topics at the school: locksmith, carpenter and electrical engineer at the time. That is how I came to Stage-at Elektro specialgger in Galtür. Although the teacher said to my father: “With this good testimony you will probably send your son to a higher school!”
