More than a thousand musicians from the region take part in the ‘Bands in the Auditorium’ cycle

The Cabezo de Torres Youth Group will open the program this Sunday with a concert to celebrate its 40th birthday

More than a thousand musicians trained in music band schools and in the network of conservatories in the Murcia region will participate in a new edition of the cycle ‘Bands in the Auditorium’, starting this Sunday, November 6 at the Víctor Villegas, at 12:00. The Cabezo de Torres Youth Music Association (AMJCT) will open the program with a gala to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The event will feature performances by the Symphonic Band, led by Andrés Pérez Bernabé, alongside the Children’s Band, led by Inmaculada Usero Fructuoso, and the Youth Band, led by Lorenzo Caravaca Martínez.

Within the monograph, seven days of Sunday concerts are planned, until June 11, with the participation of 14 bands and a choir. Thus, on January 8, the performances will continue with the Jumillano Friends of Music Association and the music group Cristo del Valle de Torreagüera, along with the choir Vía Musicalis de Beniaján. On February 19 it will be the turn of the Lorquí Friends of Music Association and the Cartagonova Musical Union.

On April 16, the Muleña Musical Group and the Maestro Eugenio Calderón Musical Association, from Mazarrón, will perform, and on the 23rd of the same month, the music groups Virgen de la Fuensanta, from Patiño; Villa de Fuente Álamo, and that of Blanca. For its part, the cultural association Euterpe de Santomera will play on May 21, as will the music association of El Palmar.

The cycle will conclude on June 11 with concerts by the Asociación Amigos de la Música de Alcantarilla and the Asociación Músico-cultural Las Musas de Guadalupe, who will perform together with the Paprika Jazz Band.
