Cameron Smith Takes LIV Chicago Lead From Dustin Johnson

Australian Cameron Smith leads the way at the LIV Chicago Invitational with two shots ahead of American Dustin Johnson, who led the tournament on day one.

Smith, British Open champion, this Saturday delivered a card of 68 hits (-4) and accumulates -10 in total.

Instead, Johnson, who signed off at -9 on Friday, slumped to a disappointing +1 to leave him at -8 after two rounds.

In third place appears the American Peter Uihleinthe best this Saturday with a card of -6 and that is three shots behind Smith with a total of -7.

At Rich Harvest Farms, about 80 kilometers from Chicago, the best Hispanic player after two rounds was Chilean Joaquín Niemann with a total of -4 after a -3 card this Saturday.

Sergio García (-3 overall), Eugenio López Chacarra (-1) and David Puig (+4) are also competing in this new LIV Golf event, the highly controversial initiative promoted by Saudi Arabia and which, with juicy economic prizes, seeks to organize a circuit rivaling the PGA Tour in quality and prestige.
