The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has decided to temporarily punish Norwegian Bodo/Glimt coach, Kjetil Knutsen, and Roma goalkeeping coach, Nuno Santos, who will not participate in the second leg this Thursday of the Conference League quarterfinals between the two teams.
UEFA opened an investigation after the confrontation between Knutsen and Nuno Santos at the end of the first leg, which was played on April 7 on the ground of the Norwegian team (2-1), and on Monday it announced that both head coach of Bodo /Glimt as well as Portuguese Nuno Santos were temporarily suspended, until the disciplinary body resolved the case.
The penalty affects this week’s match, scheduled for Thursday 14th, in accordance with article 49 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, for alleged violations of articles 11 (2) (b) and 15 ( 1) (g).
