A stellar Openda puts Lens back in second place

A brace and a help from Lois opened itThey returned Lens to second place in Ligue 1, overcoming Monaco (3-0) at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium.

The set of Frank Haise returned to the normalcy that was lost at the weekend when leaders Paris Saint-Germain ended their four-match winning streak.

Lens won again in a crucial Champions League clash, pulling away for a Monaco that for its part had come off a four-game unbeaten run.

It wasn’t difficult for Haise’s team to get the game back on track. in eleven minutes Openda opened the scoring by taking advantage of a loose ball inside the visiting area.

Openda, 17 goals in Ligue 1
