The King awarded the Collar of the Order of Isabella Catholic to the owner of PSG

The Official State Gazette (BOE) published on Wednesday May 11 the concession of King Philip VI of Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, owner of Paris Saint Germain.

The concession was made, according to the BOE announcement, on the proposal of Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and after deliberation conducted by the Council of Ministers at the meeting held on Tuesday.

The Collar of the Order of Isabel the Catholic is the highest level of the said Orderin front of the Grand Cross, the Number Commendation, the Commendation, the Officer’s Cross, the Cross, the Silver Cross, the Silver Medal and the Bronze Medal.

The purpose of giving this award is to “reward extraordinary behavior of a civil nature which benefits the Nation or which contributes, in a significant way, to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the Spanish Nation and the other international community “, according to the Regulations of the Catholic Order of Isabella published in the BOE of November 21, 1998.

The concession corresponds to the time in presence in Madrid, on Tuesday, by Kylian Mbappé, a great PSG figure whose future points to the Santiago Bernabéu, and by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of the French team, who attended an ECA (European Association of Clubs) summit held in the capital.
