Pont Grup has caught the latest great talent in MotoGP, Pedro Acosta, who these days is back in action at the Sepang shakedown and will be showing off his new personal sponsor on his helmet.
In his fourth season as a World Cup player, Pedro is a ‘rookie’ again, but this time in the premier category: “I’m a debutant in the category, which means I don’t have a lot of pressure. My goal this year is to adapt to it, to the new format and try to understand how MotoGP works,” he explained.
The Mazarrón rider commented that “it is a pleasure to be part of the Pont Grup family, a company that has been linked to our sport for a long time, working with great riders. The start of this new adventure in MotoGP that together means a lot and it will definitely be wonderful,” said Pedro.
“That a brand like Pont Grup with riders of the caliber of Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, among others, wants to be part of my first year competing in the premier category is very important to me. I am sure it will be amazing,” concluded the Mazarrón Shark.
Pont Grup continues to grow in elite motorcycling, with the sponsorship of Pedro Acosta, it adds to the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, Sergio García in Moto2, David Muñoz and José Antonio Rueda in Moto3, Xavi Vierge in WorldSBK; and off-road with Dakarians Lorenzo Santolino, Javi Vega and Sara García.
