That’s what drove us to be there, the healthy competition we have in the team. In the end we all respond, whoever plays is good. That’s the difference from last year. All of us who participate to a greater or lesser extent show that we can play and we do things well.

In my career I have always played on the left wing, but also in other positions. On the left, on the right, he seems to want to forward me… I am available for anything the coach wants.

I also remember that he played as a winger in San Mamés with Osasuna against Bilbao Athletic.

I have played a lot as a winger, also in Italy. As a midfielder, as an interior player, as a winger, as a forward… I adapt to what the coach asks of me and if I have to play on the left, on the left and on the right, on the right.

I’m very calm. I think I’m doing the right thing. These are the issues my representative handles. I have a contract until June 30 and I have said what I want and Athletic knows what I want.

I have never experienced this situation. I always leave clubs because they bought me. I never stopped thinking about it, not even for a second. I’m happy playing football, I’m enjoying the moment and then we’ll see.

Is your family comfortable in Bilbao?

I just live here with my husband and he is very comfortable. My parents and family live in Pamplona and we are close to them. We are feeling fine and hope he stays here.

Everyone has their own style of watching football. I will not tell you who is better or worse. I spent three months with Gaizka, with Marcelino who was very good and with Valverde.
