Monaco has always been a special Grand Prix for driverstherefore many teams opted for different decorations. McLaren recently announced its new ‘livery’ as a tribute to Ayrton Senna with a decoration that will carry the colors of its iconic helmet.
Like McLaren, Fernando Alonso also looked different at the Monegasque circuit. The Asturian will debut a helmet he co-created Valvoline Global Operationsone of his team’s main sponsors, Aston Martin. The helmet is white as the main color, with some blue and red details, tones characteristic of the American company. Aston Martin presented the helmet under the motto “Being original means embodying the spirit of legacy, innovation and evolution.”
No one has more reason to release something special than Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver will race in his homeland with his most loyal fans and, like Alonso, will ride in his car with a special helmet.
The helmet stands out with its red and white colors and the large letters “Monaco”. This is the fourth special helmet this year for the Monte Carlo race, after those used in Imola, Miami and Japan.
