The clubs of premier league unanimously agreed on Thursday to keep the current limit of 35 euros (£ 30) in ticket prices reserved for fans away for the next three seasons, until June 2025. The cap price was introduced in the 2016/17 season. This way, with the current extension, the cap will remain in effect for nine seasons.
On this average, clubs recognize the very important importance of fans when it comes to developing best environment possible in games and recognize the extra travel costs that are often followed by a team away from home.
The clubs, which meet this Thursday, have also agreed to build a series of new ones steps and commitment for fans, including the introduction of the Supporters Advisory Council and the appointment of an official at the Council level to be responsible for the club’s fan engagement activities.
The calendar of next season’s Premier League will be announced to the public Thursday June 16at 10:00 (Spanish time, 09:00 in England).
