Salvador ‘Tato’ Prat, new president of FCM

Date:

The Catalan Motorcycle Federation, after convening an Electoral Board on Friday, June 10, 2022, announced the appointment of Salvador “Tato” Prat Lebrero (Terrassa 11/30/1963) as the new President of the FCM.

‘Tato Prat’, until now a member of the Board of Directors, replaced Josep Maria Mañé.

Someone closely associated with motorcycling.

Salvador Prat has always been closely associated with the world of motorcycling. As a rider, he excelled in the discipline of enduro, participating in Catalan, national and international competitions, from the late 70s to early 90s. Later, he performed one of his other great passions, the test.

In the mid-1990s, Salvador Prat began organizing motorcycling events, always affiliated with his club, the Moto Club Terrassa, which he had led for the past four years. His interest in arranging careers eventually led him to become an FIM administrator.

Regarding his professional aspect, the new president of the Catalan Motorcycle Federation has a long career as an entrepreneur in the sports sector.

Salvador Prat faced this new challenge with enthusiasm: “I am very proud to represent Catalan motorcycling, a sport that has given me everything as a professional and also as a rider.. The main objectives of the new board are: at the sporting level, to promote indigenous sports through provincial representatives; increase female participation in careers; promote motorcycle tourism events and fight for the clean and sustainable Championships of Catalonia. I would like to thank the good work done by the outgoing board, especially the president, Josep Maria Mañé, who leaves the FCM cohesive and has the desire to work for new goals. “
