Vingegaard’s threat to Pogacar after the second stage of the Tour: “I’m back”

The danish Jonas Vingegaardwinner of the last two Tours in Franceconsidered “a small victory” to enter with the Slovenianor Tadej Pogacar at the finish line of the second stage in Bologna, because he confessed that he hoped to lose a few seconds, so he declared: “I’m back.”


“Today was one of those days where I expected to lose some time, so following him was a small victory for me and I was very happy to finish the stage with him,” said the Visma cyclist.
