Sainz assured a press conference that from Hungary onwards the Ferrari team is confident of reducing the “two or three tenths” that would separate it in the fight for victories. The main change comes in Hungary, which has a modified floor with the aim of reducing one of its main problems in these last races, the ‘bounce’. This effect made the car harder and they hope that now the car will be easier so that their drivers can push harder, and maybe also tend to reduce height and gain load and cornering.
On this track in Hungary, the bounce is not a very important effect but it will be key at Spa-Francorchamps, where Ferrari hopes to be stronger thanks to this new thing.
Red Bull, many evolutions
