Many athletes are already installed on Paris Olympic Village. Next Friday the opening ceremony will begin the Olympic Games which will feature the participation of more than 10,000 athletes. The majority will remain in the communes of Seine-Saint-Denis, on the banks of the Seine. The Village consists of 72 buildings with all kinds of services, from restaurants, sports facilities and even a hospital.
One of the unknowns that has been clarified in these early days is what the beds are where the athletes will rest. After the ‘anti-sex’ beds that became popular in Tokyo To prevent encounters between athletes, a total of 16,000 beds were installed in Paris.
The first photos of the rooms were published by the athletes themselves through their social networks. In the videos you can see the structure of the beds, made of cardboard, but capable of withstanding all kinds of jumps and acrobatics.
The Mexican athlete Sofia Reinoso and the british Tom Daley, Olympic champion in Tokyo 2020, published several videos that quickly went viral. The same goes for gymnasts Rhys McClenaghanjumping violently on the bed.
