The big news for Sainz comes from the Williams factory: new simulator for 2025

Date:

Williams needs to be improved. 2024 was a very difficult year for Grove and they could only finish ninth in the F1 constructors’ standings. To try to climb the ranks in the general classification, the British signed Carlos Sainz Jr. which comes from playing a great role in other historic teams like Ferrari and McLaren. But for the Spanish signing to be more effective, more investment is needed. And that’s what they’re focusing on now.

Structures such as Aston Martin, Haas and Alpine are investing in new infrastructure in their respective factories and Williams doesn’t want to be left behind. That’s why in 2025 they will release a new simulator according to the Italian version of Motorsport and they will leave a version that has become obsolete.

In the simulator, Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon will be able to test all the new parts that are introduced to the car. Additionally, Williams also signed Oliver Turvey to work on this instrument. The Briton has been working on the McLaren simulator for 15 years and now he has come to Grove with a lot of information about the champion team for the revival of Grove’s team.

To improve there is no other choice but to invest and in Williams this process is carried out thanks to money that entered the injection of Dorilton Capital since the entity took over the team.

In addition to renewing the infrastructure, Williams is also signing key players at the top of the team to round out its drivers. For example, he signed Pat Fry and Matt Harman from Alpine in addition to Fabrice Moncade, who arrived from Ferrari as a new data analyst. The legendary English team also debuted a new chief engineer: the former Red Bull Angelos Tsiaparas.
