The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha YZR M1), head of world of MotoGP and reigning champion, has indicated that he hopes that the Austrian Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend at the circuit ring of the red bull of Spielberg, be “more normal” not necessarily comply with any penalty.
“After Silverstone I was a bit disappointed, but I used that energy productively and I’m training a lot and I feel focused and ready for the weekend,” acknowledged Quartararo in a statement from his team.
“With no pending sanctions, this grand prix will be more ‘normal’ and our only goal is to do the best job possible, while we know that Spielberg is not one of our most desirable tracks, but here I got third place in 2019 and 2021 and if we keep the right attitude and work hard, we will achieve good results,” acknowledged the leader of the World Cup.
