Italian company completes steps towards its goal of being 100% electric by 2027

At Fiat, the energy transition is more than a goal for 2027: the date is set on the brand’s calendar to offer an offer consisting exclusively of 100% electric cars at that time. Five years earlier, the Italian company takes the first steps towards this ambitious goal, with a catalog in which it has at least one electrified version in each of its models.

The Fiat ‘Zero Emissions’ range for passenger cars consists of the Fiat 500e and the Fiat E-Doblò, while for commercial vehicles Fiat Professional offers the Fiat E-Doblò, the E-Ducato and the E-Scudo. .

The new Fiat 500 can be regarded as the great standard-bearer of this new era. The electric version of the iconic Italian car was the best-selling ‘Zero emission’ urban tourism in Spain during the month of October.

The new electric 500 is marketed with two levels of autonomy, 190 km and 320 km, which adapt to the daily life of a demanding and sophisticated clientele. Available in hatchback, convertible and 3+1 bodies, the range is divided into three levels, named New 500, (RED) and the special series ‘La prima by Bocelli’, each offering the best in technology , connectivity and security . It offers a wide range of innovative equipment, unique in the city car segment.

The iconic Fiat 500 has versions with Mild Hybrid (MHEV) technology in hatchback and convertible body styles. In both cases, it has an engine that develops 51 kW (70 hp), and thanks to hybridisation, it records CO2 emissions of 108 g/km and a combined consumption of 4.7 l/100 km, very competitive values ​​in its segment. .

The Fiat Panda, for its part, features this technology in both the urban city and the adventurous Cross, with emissions from 109 g/km and consumption of 4.8 l/100 km.

The Fiat 500X is distinguished by a very personal design that combines the lines of the legendary Fiat 500 with features from the SUV universe. The hybrid version develops 97 kW (130 hp) with a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 3,500 rpm and consumption from 5.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions from 128 g/km.

In the compact segment, the Fiat Tipo, which integrates in its hatchback and station wagon ranges a 97 kW (130 hp) MHEV alternative with CO2 emissions from 115 g/km and a consumption of 5.1 l/100 km, according to WLTP regulations. It is an efficient version with all the comfort, interior space and advanced technologies that characterize the Tipo range.

With the everyday needs of families, businesses and the self-employed in mind, the Fiat E-Doblò presents ingenious and innovative solutions that make driving on urban routes easier and much less stressful. Manufactured in Vigo, it represents another step in the brand’s electrification process. Equipped with a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and a 50 kWh battery, which allows more than 280 km of autonomy, it reaches a maximum speed of 130 km/h and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Thanks to the ‘Fast charge mode’ up to 100 kW, you can charge 80% of your battery in just 30 minutes.
