Spectacular coup d’état Tuesday evening in Jennersdorf (Burgenland): Unknown perpetrators broke into the warehouse unnoticed. The criminals were chasing a lawnmower tractor (see video above). The gang managed to escape, but they are still wanted. The path leads to Hungary.
The coup was committed just before midnight on Monday. As professionals, the burglars plucked the lock of the warehouse at the train station. They purposely grabbed a lawnmower tractor. The heavy loot was taken away on a trailer that had just been stolen and was parked not far from the crime scene.
However, the thieves didn’t get very far. Both the trailer and the small tractor were secured in the Mogersdorf area. The latter was discovered the next morning in a cornfield.
According to initial investigations, the perpetrators may have fled in the direction of Hungary. The manhunt is in full swing. The criminals are said to be near the border.
