Two Upper Austrians wanted to take home more than a kilo of cannabis from their holiday in Morocco and swallowed it in capsules! The last stop was at the airport.
On July 10, 2022, two Upper Austrians, aged 37 and 39, were subjected to an ultrasound at Morocco’s airport as they attempted to leave the country. A total of about 1.6 kilograms of cannabis resin (296 capsules) was found in their bodies, which they excreted under supervision in Morocco.

The two men from the districts of Gmunden and Ried im Innkreis had already had their business in Morocco and stated that they wanted to smuggle these drugs with a street value of 16,000 euros for their own use.
