Long prison sentence – breakfast with Hitler: coffee in a Nazi mug

Date:

Hitler memes on the cell phone, the swastika mug in the kitchen and even in the nursery, Nazi junk: A 53-year-old Carinthian collected Nazi memorabilia and honored the memory of the Nazi grandfather. The prison sentence is high!

In the 1990s, Mr. H. was a violent right-wing hooligan, for which he was convicted. Apparently his mentality has not changed over the years: on April 20, the Carinthian was again exposed as a right-wing extremist when he sent Nazi photos. “What kind of date is that?” wanted to know prosecutor Julius Heidinger at the trial in Klagenfurt. “My grandmother’s birthday,” the accused answered boldly.

Working with Nazi Leiberl
Adolf Hitler was also born that day. “A bastard,” the 53-year-old told the jury, but at the same time had his entire apartment full of Nazi memorabilia: from the coffee mug with a swastika to the Imperial eagle to T-shirts with the banned “Black Sun” he wore. also used to work wore. “And the most reprehensible thing is that you also had a display case with such things in your growing son’s room,” sniffed Judge Manfred Herrnhofer. “How do you think a young person is formed there?”

Two and a half years behind bars
The defendant must also have been influenced: “Grandpa was a Nazi with a Hitler beard,” he says. “He was always talking about time and had a lot of stuff.” That it is forbidden to show such “things” in front of others is largely new to the Carinthians. “Every week there is a trial in Klagenfurt under the Prohibition Act, and you don’t notice it?”, the judges criticized. He accepted the verdict – two and a half years in prison.
