The mask obligation in hospitals and doctors will be lifted on April 30. That is the plan of the federal government – reported the “Krone”. The Tirol Kliniken have already decided to relax, allowing employees to breathe a sigh of relief.
The black-green federal government recently presented the roadmap for the end of the pandemic. In May, the face mask obligation in hospitals, nursing homes and doctors’ practices will be a thing of the past.
The Tirol Kliniken with the state hospitals in Innsbruck, Hall, Hochzirl and Natters and with the state clinic are now using the possibility created by the federal government to gradually lift the mask obligation.
No more masks in hallways or dining rooms
Thousands of employees were told in a letter on Tuesday that the FFP2 mask requirement is now limited to direct patient contact. As a result, employees no longer have to wear face masks in the corridors, in social areas or in the dining rooms. The arrangement also applies to visitors.
