Local police killed the gunman at the Allen Premium Outlets, in a town on the outskirts of Dallas.
At least nine people died this Saturday and seven others were injured after a shooting that took place at a shopping center in the city Allin Texas, in the southern United States.
According to Allen Police Chief Brian Harvey, the shooter was stopped by a police officer who was at the mall after an unrelated phone call.
Six people and the attacker were found dead at the scene, nine were taken to hospitals and two of them died at the medical center.
Three others are undergoing “critical operations” and four are “in stable condition,” the police chief said. At least one of the deceased is a child.
Images published by the media show dozens of people leaving the mall, many with their hands above their heads.
