sensational find! The oldest known fragment of a book in the form of a codex was discovered at the University of Graz.

During routine work on papyrus fragments from the special collections in the library of the University of Graz, the restorer Theresa Zammit Lupi discovered a sensation: a 3rd century BC Egyptian papyrus shows traces of a binding that indicate that it must have been part of a book .
