Another aftershock occurred on Thursday evening in the Gloggnitz area in the Neunkirchen district (Lower Austria). The earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 at 8:24 p.m. were clearly felt in the area of the epicenter, said Geosphere Austria (Austrian Seismological Service).
Police say there may have been minor damage. Three months ago, on March 30 in the late evening hours, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook the Gloggnitz area.
