On Wednesday evening there was a brutal robbery at a petrol station in Linz. The perpetrator has been on the run ever since. The police demand information and a reward is offered.
At around 9:48 p.m. on Wednesday, a man forced his way into the Avia gas station on Pulvermühlstraße in Linz. There he threatened the cashier – who was just serving a customer – with a knife. In Upper Austrian dialect he demanded cash, which the cashier handed him in small amounts.
Money stuffed in cloth bag
He put the loot in a gray cloth bag and fled on foot. A search has been started, but so far without result. The gas station operator is also offering a reward of 1,000 euros for useful information.
This is what the robber looks like:
- About 25-35 years old,
- Quite corpulent, full beard
- oh dialect
- Olive green hoodie, black pants, masked with bandana, gray cloth pants
- Left hand bandaged or in plaster
Report any clues immediately to a police station on 059-133-40 3333.
