The 41-year-old resident was walking in a wooded area in Sarleinsbach on Monday around 4 p.m. She discovered a 72-year-old man lying motionless on the ground next to a fallen tree with a wound to his head.
Confirmed dead
The woman then immediately called 911. The rescuers performed resuscitation measures on the victim until the emergency doctor arrived – in vain. Ultimately, he was only able to determine the death of the 72-year-old around 4:40 p.m.
