North Korea, which is largely isolated internationally due to sanctions, is known to finance its nuclear weapons program through cyber attacks. FBI investigators have now discovered another ‘source of income’ that had previously gone unnoticed for years.

The money, often invested anonymously in cryptocurrency, was then used by the heavily sanctioned country to fund its nuclear and missile programs, the report said.
