The Carinthian (24) and his girlfriend (22) realized their dream: their own restaurant in Styria. But in January she no longer wanted the relationship. The 24-year-old clearly couldn’t handle that. The terrible act took place in their apartment in May: he strangled the woman until she could no longer breathe – and died. He then got into his ex-girlfriend’s mother’s car and crashed it into a bridge railing with suicidal intent. He survived but was seriously injured.
