A drunk Bulgarian caused serious damage to a gas station in Feldkirchen, Carinthia with his van on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old Bulgarian simply drove his van through the car wash around 10:15 p.m., severely damaging it and then driving away again. The 30-year-old tenant of the gas station alerted the police and was able to make a video recording in which the van with advertising sign was clearly visible.
Handler quickly went to investigate
The driver of the hit-and-run was located within half an hour based on the sighting of a young detective who had already spotted the van a few days ago in the Feldkirchen district.
Bulgarian heavily drunk
The Bulgarian does not have his main residence in Carinthia and the vehicle has a Bulgarian license plate. The 23-year-old admitted to driving the van. A breath analysis at the scene showed that there was serious intoxication. His driver’s license was temporarily confiscated on the spot. The man has been reported several times.
