In Austria, 2123 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from Monday 9.30 am). On Monday a week ago, there were exactly 1733 new cases. Four other people infected with the virus died in the current comparison period.
So far there are 4,269,277 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 a.m., 18,674 people across Austria had died as a result of the coronavirus, and 4,214,477 had recovered. There are currently 457 patients in hospital treatment. Of these, 39 are in intensive care.
The new infections are distributed among the federal states as follows:

- Carinthia: 98
- Lower Austria: 498
- Upper Austria: 267
- Salzburg: 138
- Styria: 112
- Tyrol: 130
- Vorarlberg: 131
- Vienna: 699
