As revealed by the Ukrainian newspaper ‘KP’, the Kremlin general was liquidated by artillery fire last Sunday the 5th as he personally led the offensive in Donbas. Specifically, according to the media ‘Ukrinform’, he died in the town of Mykoláivka, near Popasna.

In the attack, the same web portal warns, based on the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “some units of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Military Army of the Russian Federation suffered significant losses.” In that sense, the domain explains that “it involves at least 50% of the personnel, weapons and equipment.”

Moscow, for its part, has only officially recognized that Kutuzov is the fourth general to lose his life in combat since his “special military operation” began in Ukraine on Feb. 24. Likewise, the news was reported Sunday night by Russian war correspondent Alexandr Sladkov on Telegram, where he stated that Kutuzov had been killed in an offensive along with other soldiers he led.

On the other hand, the deputy commander of the Chechen Kadyrov special regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Mezhed Utsmygov (nicknamed Mujahideen), was wounded the 2nd last Thursday in the city of Kamyshevakha, located in the Zaporizhia region. “Utsmygov and his Chechen soldiers set up a firing point in a house to cover the passage of other fighters, but the shelling started and a shell hit the building.

On the other hand, the United Kingdom announced on Monday that it will make the first shipment to Ukraine of a multi-missile launcher system with a range of 80 kilometers, well above the arsenal that Kiev owns. “We cannot stand by as Russian long-range artillery destroys cities and kills innocent civilians,” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Twitter.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace explained that London will send the M270 system, without confirming a number, about a week after the United States also announced the shipment of this type of weapon to Ukraine.
