Everything is cautiously clear after the terrible discovery of a young, completely naked woman at the bus station in Lignano and the associated fears: as the ‘Krone’ has learned from Italian police circles, there is no evidence of violent sexual abuse. The 20-year-old Styrian himself also refrained from filing a complaint.
Naked and visibly shaken, the 20-year-old was discovered on Monday morning by a boy – who immediately alerted the police. The woman from Styria was wrapped in a blanket by uniformed officers, but could not say what had happened in the past few hours. According to her own statements, she has no complete memory of the weekend.
The officials had the worst fears: they immediately had the Styrian woman picked up by the rescue team and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the witness was interviewed by the police. However, this had nothing to do with the possible crime and ‘merely’ showed moral courage.
Doctors found no traces
Could the girl have been drugged and/or sexually assaulted on the way home from the “Tutto Gas” party? In any case, investigations by the local carabinieri were in full swing.
As the ‘Krone’ has now learned from police circles, during the specific medical examinations in the hospital, the doctors could not find any evidence that there was any violent sexual intercourse – that is, rape -.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the 20-year-old might not have been incapacitated with drugs or alcohol and then sexually assaulted. Because the young woman ultimately did not want to file a complaint at her own request, the researchers closed the file.
