Kid Rock sang a song shortly before Donald Trump’s speech at the US Republican Party Convention to get the audience in the mood for the presidential candidate. On the last night of the convention in Milwaukee, the rock musician was welcomed by an enthusiastic audience.
As part of his performance, Kid Rock encouraged the crowd to repeat slogans that had been used repeatedly in speeches over the previous days.
“Fight, fight,” the musician shouted. The crowd repeated the words in unison. Kid Rock shouted “Trump, Trump” – the crowd followed euphorically.
It was not the musician’s first appearance at an event with Donald Trump. He is one of the Republican’s most prominent supporters.
Hulk Hogan Fired Up the Crowd
Former wrestler Hulk Hogan also provided thunderous cheers in the room. “Donald Trump is the strongest of them all,” he roused the crowd after first taking off his jacket and then his black T-shirt with the American flag on it – underneath he wore a sleeveless, bright red shirt with the text “Trump – Vance 2024”. JD Vance is Trump’s vice presidential running mate.
Hogan, 70, also rose to fame with series and films. He once supported former President Barack Obama, a Democrat, but announced in 2011 that he would no longer do so.
