Emergency services continue to work on the scene as the number of people affected has risen to six dead, around 90 injured and three missing.
The port of the city of Hodeida, in Yemen, is still under fire and smoke after Israeli attacks last Saturday. After a new damage assessment, Al Masirah television reports that six people have already been killed and around 90 injured.
Houthi rebels’ emergency teams continue to work to extinguish the fire, which continues to fill the air with thick columns of smoke. A day after fuel tanks were hit by Israeli shelling, crews are still trying to contain the spread of the flames to prevent further damage.
A new casualty report from Yemen’s Al Masirah television puts the number of casualties at six dead, along with 90 wounded, and says three other people are missing following the attack.
The bombings, Israel’s first against Yemen, raised alarms across the Middle East after the Houthis threatened more retaliation and announced the launch of several rockets against the Jewish state’s south on Sunday morning.
