He Santander bank has obtained one advantage attributed to 9309 million euros in the first nine months of 2024, 14% more compared to the same period of the previous year, thanks to “strong” income growth across its global businesses and regions, as reported on Tuesday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

The bank attributes the increase to customer activity and growth “across all businesses and regions.”
The president of Banco Santander, Ana Botín, has highlighted the “strong and profitable” growth and the 19% increase in earnings per share. “Interest margin and fee income are increasing, credit quality is solid and the transformation allows us to increase revenues well above costs,” he emphasized in a note to CNMV.
“In an increasingly volatile geopolitical environment, we are confident that we will continue this strong momentum both through the remainder of the year and into 2025 and achieve all our objectives,” he concluded.
