In the night from Monday to Tuesday there was a basement fire in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag (Styria) district. The house with several parties had to be evacuated, two people were injured. Now another fire brigade was discovered in the next house, so there is suspicion of arson.
Around midnight a fire broke out in the basement of a house with several parties in Hafendorf. Three fire brigades from Kapfenberg, Hafendorf and Diemlach were warned. The fire, which almost extended over the entire basement of the house, was removed by the emergency services.
Two people injured
Both the house struck by the fire and the immediately adjacent residential building had to be evacuated. A total of three people were brought out by the emergency services and initiated by the Red Cross. A 71-year-old was somewhat injured by the inhalation of the smoke and a 79-year-old suffered a serious inhalation trauma, according to the emergency doctor. Both were in the affected house with several parties at the time of the fire. They were brought to LKH Hochsteiermark, Bruck on the Mur for further treatment.
In the course of the investigation, the police and experts became aware of another, initially undiscovered fire brigade in the basement of the secondary house. However, this will probably have happened automatically. The Kapfenberg-Stadt Fire Brigade was again used for reversal work. Because of the trace situation found, it can be assumed that the fire was placed in different places by a previously unknown perpetrator.
Parts of the house blocked
The amount of damage must be remarkable: the fire has damaged various objects that are stored in the basement and basement compartments, ceiling insulation and electric lines. Even rooms of the Multi -Party house itself were damaged by flue gases, so that the building authority also had to temporarily block the two objects. After all, the 79-year-old resident was already able to leave the hospital.
