Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin (36) appeared at a rock festival in a leather jacket, short jeans and boots. Sunday there was a lot of praise online for the “coolest head of government in Europe”.
The organizers of the Ruisrock festival on the island of Ruissalo, which belongs to the southwestern Finnish city of Turku, shared the black and white portrait of photographer Janita Autio on their Instagram page. “Legend,” commented one user, “so cool” another user. The politician is known for her love of rock music.
“Today the holiday started”
Marin also confirmed the visit at his own expense. There she posted a photo that shows her with husband Markus Raikkonen. “Today the holiday has started. On the way to Turku in Finland and Ruisrock,” she wrote.
She also presented some short videos of Finnish artists’ performances. It was unknown whether she, like many other festival-goers, drank canned beer and participated in the usual wild pogo dances in front of the stage.
