A week ago the styric author Natascha Gangl won both the Bachmann Prize and the Audience Award during the Goklezing in Klagenfurt. The “Kroon” spoke with her about the unexpected success, her literature and the need for a lively cultural scene.
“Krone”: A week ago they cleared up at the Bachmann price with their dialect text “Da Sta”. How are you today?
Natascha Gangl: I still can’t believe it. I am in my room, the unknown suitcase next to me – there was no time to unpack. Inside I still have the feeling that I am sitting at the table in the TV studio in Klagenfurt, I am done with my lecture and wait for the hard exchange of success.
