There is clilderness after the shock find in Carinthia. A Babylic Oak was discovered in a bush. Research is now underway in all directions. And the autopsy brings new details …
The shock is deep in Carinthia. After an employee of the Carinthian state capital Klagenfurt had to make the sad discovery of a male baby corpse found in a shopping bag on Saturday. As reported, the already very rotting baby, well hidden in a bush, was removed in the Europapark Klagenfurt. According to the investigation, the baby must be dead for a few weeks.
Because it was not clear at first whether it was a carcass with animals or a human, an autopsy was immediately ordered. But on Saturday there was the sad certainty. “Now it is being investigated in all directions,” said Denise Walk of the public prosecutor of Carinthia. “We investigate unknown perpetrators and not just against the mother,” continued.
Yet the road leads to the mother
“Why we also go out of the mother is because when the autopsy could be established that the Babyliche still had an umbilical cord with it,” Walk explains: “The birth was not performed by an obstetrician nor in the hospital. This can be excluded because there was no good cable.”
Now DNA traces that have also been removed are evaluated in the course of proof of evidence. “We have to wait. The case has a top priority,” says it. So far, there should have been no information from the population for this tragic case.
