Canadian-Austrian automotive customer Manga-Steyr is planning a new plant in the United States. We see some possibilities in this, we are still looking for a location.
“Both new manufacturers and traditional car manufacturers make us optimistic,” said Manga Steyr manager Kurt Bachmaier, explaining the news to the trade journal “Automobilwoche”. Because the Canadian-Austrian car contract manufacturer Magna Steyr wants to open a production facility in the American market.
Region still secret
We are currently busy looking for a location. The manager leaves open which region in the United States is suitable for this: “We look at where we have employees with sufficient qualifications, where suppliers are located, where we have the size and flexibility that we need.”
