A new service package and a new image film are intended to strengthen Internet trade in Tyrol. The first conducted e-commerce barometer shows that many companies are still struggling with business in the digital sphere.
More and more Tyrolean companies are active in online trade. “We currently count about 890 online stores in Tyrol,” calculates Markus Schwarzenberger, World Cup President of Internet Trade in Tyrol. Trade via digital channels is clearly on the rise. However, e-commerce is still difficult for many. “Especially in the course of the first corona lockdown, many companies panicked and started trading online as soon as possible,” says the chairman.
Against this background, the “Tiroler E-Commerce Barometer” was conducted for the first time together with the company “Business Beat”.
Voucher booklet and image film as support
The result, says director Andreas Hermann: “It made clear what the biggest challenges are. For example, the design, care and maintenance of the webshop or the legal requirements that must be observed.” WK has now put together a service package based on the results.
On the one hand, a voucher booklet containing discounts and promotions for successful online trading. On the other hand, an image film was created to increase customer interest.
