Katharina Urlaub, founder from Graz, is on the coveted “30 under 30” list of the renowned magazine Forbes. That should give your start-up “Quickticket” wings.
“It’s almost a seal of quality,” says Katharina Urlaub (26) happily in an interview with “Steirerkrone” about her award. “It’s confirmation that what you’re doing is going in the right direction.”
According to the trade magazine “Forbes”, the 26-year-old is one of the 30 most interesting talents in Austria who are under 30 years old. Joining her on this list are ski ace Katharina Liensberger, Paralympic swimmer Andreas Ernhofer, actor Valerie Huber and climate activist Katharina Rogenhofer.
For Urlaub, it’s the reward for the hard work building her start-up “Quickticket” – a medical practice waitlist management program she’s been working on for years with her business partner Armin Dax-Sinkovits.
Her nomination by “Forbes” has already had a noticeable impact on business: “Since then there have been considerably more questions about our system. From Vienna, but even from Switzerland,” says Urlaub.
