The Council on Construction Industry Training (NIT) (CITB NI) has launched the Build Your Career – Build Your Future campaign.

In the coming weeks, CITB NI will present career options and avenues to the construction industry.

The role of CITB NI is to assist construction industry workers who are employed or intend to hire and enhance industry and productivity skills, to provide a fully safe, professional and skilled workforce throughout the construction industry. Ჩ Northern Ireland.


Matilda May Pete is one of the young women in NI who works in the construction industry. Matilda May is a foreman trainee at Lowry Building & Civil Engineering.

Top Introduction Sarah Travers and Rachel McMahon CITB NI

It will also give you inspiring job management tips, provide you with role models, and give you the opportunity to expand professional networks. The event is hosted by Sarah Travers, former BBC journalist and guest host Michael Wayne, owner of five construction companies, Women in Construction ambassador and finalist on the BBC’s The Apprentice.

They will be joined by several guests: Depa Man Claire, Noam McClellan, Lorna Hagan, Rosen Kelly and Sinead Molloy. Key topics for discussion include artificial intelligence and automation, women’s health in a men’s world, sustainability, diversity and inclusion of buildings, and label syndrome.
