New shareholders – Manager Wolf joins fashion house Lech

Date:

The sports and fashion house Strolz (Strolz GbmH), based in Lech am Arlberg, will have prominent shareholders. In a first step, Siegfried Wolf, Daniel Grieder and Reinhard Wolf will take over 41 percent of the shares, the remainder will remain with the Strolz family for the time being.

The company stated that this was a first step to secure the long-term future of Strolz GmbH. A restructuring procedure was requested in December 2020. With an over-indebtedness of more than 12 million euros, a quota of 50 percent was paid. Director Olivia Strolz was convinced that “after difficult times we are now clearly doing better”. Strolz remains the sole director, in a next step the new shareholders will take over further shares. However, the Strolz family will continue to hold 50 percent in the future.

The sports and fashion house founded in 1921 has four branches in Lech and Zürs am Arlberg. Manager Siegfried Wolf, who took over MAN’s truck plant in Steyr, which was threatened with closure in 2021, said when he joined Strolz that he could not and would not imagine Lech without Strolz. On the other hand, he is convinced of Strolz’s management. Daniel Grieder is the CEO of the Hugo Boss Group and Reinhard Wolf, a native of Lech, is a real estate project manager.
