This initiative gives young people access to job offers and Youth Guarantee courses
In recent years, there have been phenomena that have affected the global economy. The Covid-19 health crisis caused very difficult periods in which citizens temporarily lost their jobs. Now with the energy crisis, prices are rising uncontrollably and this is affecting the economy of many Spaniards. The crisis phases mainly affect young people who have just entered the labor market and have a difficult situation to find work.
Many young people have completed their university studies in recent years and find themselves in a very complicated scenario. The economic crisis has made it even more difficult for young people to find a first job. With many job opportunities, the most demanded is experience, but young people in particular struggle because they are not given the opportunity to start a job related to what they have studied. Students must put into practice their knowledge and everything they have learned during their university years in order to practice their profession. For many, however, this moment is long overdue.
For those young people who are in that phase of active job search, either because they have just finished their studies or because they have recently lost their job, they should be aware of the new initiative of the Public State Employment Service ( SEP). This organization has developed a new search engine for job and training offers for young people under 30 who are looking for a job.
Youth Guarantee provides citizens under the age of 30 with a new search engine for training and employment offers that you can access through the section on the SEPE website. If you are under 30 and looking for a job, you can consult the search engine launched by SEPE and access job vacancies and Youth Guarantee courses.
As explained on the SEPE website, these offerings are organized by autonomous communities through a map showing the latest published offerings and a ‘Learn more’ button that takes you to that community’s total offerings. In addition, users can run the search using various filters to more accurately outline the type of offerings they are looking for.
This image shows a map with all the provinces of Spain. Clicking on Murcia will bring up two courses and the ‘see more offers’ option which will redirect to a list of other courses and offers available in this province.
