Those who regularly buy cola drinks and other lemonades, ketchup and BBQ sauces, detergents, body care products or motor oil, have the products of the local packaging manufacturer Alpla in their hands. And yet the company is hardly known to anyone outside its homeland of Vorarlberg. According to the EY study, Alpla is among the 500 largest family businesses in the world and could soon rise to the top 10 Austrian companies.
