Stefan Gubi is annoyed. “It’s annoying to have to justify to yourself that you did everything you could to keep our employees,” says Windhager’s general manager. Since July, the Salzburg heating manufacturer has registered 179 production employees for short-time work with the labor market service. Reason: International markets go crazy due to the lack of and uncertain preconditions.
