On April 21, 150 job seekers in Klagenfurt will once again have the opportunity to score points with their dream company in 12 minutes. From experts to interns, job seekers from many departments are welcome. For the 17th time, Doria Pfob brings together great candidates and companies during her Long Night of Applications. On this evening, not only up to four job interviews, professional preparation and individual coaching, but also a Shiatsu team, a lecture from the AK and great competitions await the candidates – the main prize being 2 nights for 2 people in the MP Seepark Wörthersee Refuge!
In 2017, the Long Night of Applications celebrated its premiere in the WKO Styria. The 17th long job interview night is now taking place in Carinthia. Both applicants and companies enjoy the forward-looking event, which is known for significantly shortening the application process. And so Jobkupplerin Pfob proudly looks back on some 12,000 job interviews in recent years – and the trend is rising.
Live again for the first time after two years of online presence
After two years of online presence, the special recruitment event will be held live for the first time on April 21 at the Paul Watzlawick Hall of the WKO/WIFI Carinthia. “After the successful online editions of the past two years, we are looking forward to welcoming the applicants live in Klagenfurt, but we are also prepared for calamities and can switch to online at any time. This way we remain loyal to us in every situation motto: bringing great companies and great employees together,” says initiator Pfob.
To prepare for the 12-minute interview, participants will receive the exclusive “How to Pitch” application guide and the “How to Pitch” video presentation. On the future date/interview you will start the conversation with a 2 minute pitch, after which the recruiters will have 8 minutes to ask questions. In the last two minutes it is decided whether the candidate will be invited for an in-depth interview with the company.
Motivated team of co-trainers on site
On the day of the event, a motivated team of co-trainers ensures that no questions about registration remain unanswered. If you want to use the break between the talks, you can listen to the exciting stories of (future) bosses in the “enlighteningly told” cinema room and be inspired, attend the interesting lecture of AK-Kärnten or relax with the Shiatsu team.
Career coach Doria Pfob knows exactly how to present yourself from your best side and become irresistible to a company. For those who don’t want to wait for the live workshop on the day of the event, Pfob has a few tips ready: “You have to keep in mind that the CV is the gateway to every job interview. Competencies, education or experience for the desired job should be clearly apparent and grab the recruiter’s attention. In order to score points with the company of your choice, I also advise applicants to think about how they want to be involved in the company and to unequivocally express their enthusiasm for potential employers. Then nothing stands in the way of your dream job.”
During the career workshop on the day, applicants will learn the best tips for salary negotiations, how to deal with the weakness question and which questions can really add points in the interview.
