The schedule for at least one model has been pushed back, business news portal “Nikkei” reported, citing Apple insiders. In the worst cases, production schedules can be delayed and fewer devices are produced.
iPhone manufacturer Pegatron has had to temporarily suspend its activities in the factories in Shanghai and Kunshan due to the lockdown. Apple itself has indicated that the Chinese lockdowns are complicating production and affecting demand in the People’s Republic.
